Had a lovely ER trip today where I got diagnosed with Shingles (at the ripe age of 33 🙄) have to make an urgent ophthalmologist appointment Monday cause they are right my left eye

My body is in a constant cycle of "go fuck yourself"

If anyone is curious (many other people have asked): yes I've had chickenpox it was around 1995-1996 idk the exact year but I remember I was in headstart. (I took my shirt off at home and told my mom mosquitoes had bitten me everywhere lol)

And as for my symptoms it started out as a headache, which I thought was sinus problems at first, but today is day 5 of my near constant headache. The rash appeared yesterday morning being painful to the touch, my eye and forehead are miserably itchy, and I woke up to my eye socket throbbing this morning(which finally sent me to the doctor lol)

The dr dosed me with Tylenol, Gabapentin, Toradol, and Valacyclovir(this one I'll take for a week)

So if you have had chickenpox and under a lot of stress and/or a weakened immune system watch out cause shingles can get you anytime
