ロードバイクのコンポーネント組み替えをお手伝い

今日はホームページを見てロードバイクのコンポーネントの組み替え依頼の連絡をくださった方がおいでになりました。 千葉から輪行していらっしゃるというので大船駅までお出迎えです。 工房に到着してお茶を飲んで一休みしてから、木製ロードバイクの試乗をしていただきました。木製フレームの乗り心地の良さを十分に感じていただけたと思います。 持ち込んだロードバイクはビアンキのアルミバイク。コンポーネントはシマノさんのSORAのセットです。 普通に組み替え作業を依頼通りやるよりも、少し手伝いをするので自分でやってみてはと提案しました。その方が安価にできます。 早速、部品という部品を取り外します。 各部の清掃や注油をしてから新しい部品の組み付けを始めます。 大方組み終わったところで近所を試乗。SORAからUltegraへの載せ替えは、はっきり体感できるほどの変化だと言って嬉しそうでした。 木製…

Well the 2017 NRA World Shooting Championship is over! It was an awesome match with some really good stages and shooters. Everyone was incredibly friendly and it was so great to see squad mates from years before! My scores fell pretty hard due to the bullseye stage, I lost about 40 places on that one event. While that's a bit of a let down for this year, what is exciting is that after four years of getting nowhere with bullseye I finally learned what i needed to fix in the middle of my last 4 shots and got them all in the bullseye! (Huuuge shoutout to the yackleys for helping me find that out). And while I still only got 49th amateur this year because of that stage I now know exactly what to fix next year. I also figured out how to shoot a trap style shotgun and realized my pistol shooting has come a huge way forward. So next year, I'm looking at top 10 amateur, possibly even pro division. I've got only a relatively few simple things to fix and I'll be there! For next year it looks like I'll be needing to go after my friends from Great Britans shooting team who won most of the top amateur spots.
