💖💜💙 Happy Bi+ Awareness Week! Sept. 16-23, 2021. I’m so happy to be a publicly out and proud bisexual! 💖💜💙 I’m grateful that I’m able to comfortably be fully “me” after spending over a decade in the closet. It was a looong and challenging, internal and personal journey. I spent years in denial, deeply doubting and invalidating myself because of the stigma surrounding bisexuality. I felt that if others didn’t believe or understand me, then neither could I... I admit it got very dark and lonely at times, but through my struggles I learned a lot about myself and the LQBTQIA+ community. I definitely wouldn’t be where I am today without the unwavering support from my loved ones and my incredible partner @rhealizapira 🌟 Thank you for the positive rainbow affirmations 🥰🌈 Looking back, I know I’m far from that low point where I once was and I’m much happier and healthier now. There’s still always work to be done and improvements to be made. My mirror might be a little dusty (oops), but I can clearly see me living life authentically and continually learning to accept and love what I see in my reflection. I LOVE this life. I LOVE myself. I LOVE ya’ll 🤠 I’ll keep yee-ing if you keep haw-ing 💜 P.S. I’m holding my EYELINER not a vape or d r u g s in the pic LOL (please don’t call mom or 9-1-1, Sara) 😆 📌 Info slides from: InsideOUT (Facebook) 🏳️🌈 #biawarenessweek #bigirlsclub #bisexual #bisexualpride https://www.instagram.com/p/CT8XjUFp0sM/?utm_medium=tumblr
