So Bi Awareness Week culminates today with Celebrate Bisexuality Day (Bisexual Pride Day, Bisexual Visibility Day). I am bisexual. You should be aware and celebrate this. But even if you don’t, it’ll still be true, and I’ll still celebrate it! 💗💜💙 And as always: Bisexuality exists; it doesn’t mean we’re confused, or in denial, or desperate, or attention seeking. As my shirt implies, it’s Not a Phase. It doesn’t reinforce the gender binary (it essentially means attracted to more than one gender), so it definitely doesn’t mean we're attracted “half to men & half to women” (what nonsense). If we are in a monogamous relationship with a man, a woman, a non-binary person, or anyone, we are Still bi. If we are with no one, we are still bi.
