‘  HEY...  HEY  NOW.    it  wasn’t  me...   this  time.  ’       sort  of.    she  certainly  didn’t  make  the  situation  any  better  with  her  loud,  aggressive  mouth.    you  just  know  her --  no  matter  what  HER  MOM  DOES,  she’s  just  always  still  there,  still  being  loyal  to  her  mother.    sam  holds  up  one  finger,  tilts  her  head,  opens  her  mouth.   closes  it  again.   ‘  my  mom’s  in  trouble,  I’M  JUST  SEEING  WHAT  I  CAN  DO  to  help  her.    the  guy’s  a  dealer.    street  stuff.     no  need  to  worry  about  it,  kitty.  ’

So, people were just dancing and singing in the halls. That seemed like a normal thing for this place. No one seemed to mind. He found a place to sit with his back against some lockers and pulled out a notebook. Might as well write a song while he was between classes. With his trusty ukelele in his hands he began to play random melodies to see what stuck out. After who knows how long he noticed that someone was watching him. “Sorry if I’m bugging you or something. I don’t know where the music rooms are.”

Mo didn’t want to put Cat through the hell of having to run for her life if people recognized her. “We could also do what other friends do and just stay in, watch a movie, eat some popcorn. I could do your nails or you could do mine.”

Rapunzel held her head up, lightly sniffing the air; the streets of Corona were so packed, the sounds of chatter filling the air, the smell of freshly baking treats consuming everyone.  She imagined it made everyone feel hungry for dessert - it certainly did for her!  “Don’t you just LOVE the smell of freshly baked brownies in the afternoon?” she voiced, directed at no one in particular, her voice cheerful as always.
