It doesn’t matter how insignificant you perceive yourself to be when God calls you to do something. If you need the extra assurance, remember God will be with you every step of the way when He calls you.

God doesn’t call the qualified, He qualifies the calls.

Good morning!

This week God will see that amazing thing He started in your life to completion. Will you let Him? You may feel like you’re burning, but you will not be consumed for you’re of God. Let’s finish this marathon strong.

You shouldn’t bear the weight of stresses and worries yourself, you will wear yourself out! Especially when it’s other peoples burdens that you’re carrying. This is exactly what Moses was doing, he thought he was helping when in fact it would lead to his detriment.

You must bring your disputes to God!

Great moves of God are usually preceded by simple acts of obedience.

But wait, isn’t God always with me?

Of course, however - God isn’t behind my decisions that don’t glorify Him. Every time I look back at the decisions I’ve made without putting God at the centre, or even asking God for approval, they have indeed failed. But when we follow commands and involve God in our lives, rather than informing Him of our intentions, we succeed beyond our wildest dreams and all glory goes to Him!

When battling against something, we should pray against it without ceasing. If we stop, the enemy will win! If we get tired of fighting, we musn’t stop. But we must turn to the people around us to support us so that we can continue fighting against the enemy. 

Today I am grateful for the people I have around me, who fight for me through prayer when I am weak.

Who fights for you through prayer when you’re weak? Who do you pray for when they are weak? We should all endeavour to lift each others hands through prayer when the forces of gravity (the world) wants us to drop our arms.

Oppression of a certain people happens when they are seen as a threat because they are more powerful than the oppressors. It was written in the Bible: when someone oppresses you, it’s because they feel threatened by you because they feel inferior, weaker and scared. Forgive them and meet them with kindness - always.
