I like to use the Bible by Tecarta app when I study the Bible during my commute to work. The features definite help me to study parts of the Old Testament that I would ordinarily just glance over. I typically highlight names in blue, actions in pink, details in green and words spoken by God in yellow. Highlighting helps me to review the main points of the chapter. Here's a screenshot of my last bible study session. (It's in night mode...another cool feature I use to change the background from white to black. It's useful for reading in the dark.)
