Tataru: What does my character find cute?
If we’re talking about what she finds cute in other people? Well, a lot of things that people traditionally find to be cute in others, at best, don’t do much of anything for Jali. At worst, they really annoy her. Stuttering and shyness, clumsiness, overwhelming innocence and naivete, things like that? None of those traits really spark any sort of positive reaction in her.
There’s actually not much that she finds to be “cute” in other people. The exception would be people who become very excited and passionate, talking about their craft, art, trade, or so on. She usually finds that excitement to at least be a little bit amusing, if not cute.
Other than that, Jaliqai has a bit of a weakness for children. She spent a good deal of her time in her early adulthood helping raise the children of the tribe, as is the Qulaani custom, and it was a duty that she always enjoyed. But naturally, if asked about it, she would never admit to finding them adorable. Have to save face and all that.
