Paper Writing, COB, and Studying Before Class Tomorrow
Well, I have decided to stop the paper writing process for the night, I got 1.5 pages done in about 2 hours even with this terrible topic. Now I'm just reading for archaeology before class tomorrow, I may even get to some of my other history stuff and my French workbook - which is also due on Friday.... but my goal is to go to bed by at least 1am, hopefully by midnight though.
Our COB tonight was amazing! we had eight new women come to the house tonight, and we gave out bids! I invited one of my good friends from last year to our first(of three) events, and she loved it and was able to come back tonight, and then stayed for our weekly movie night(Tangled!). On her way out I was a bit sneaky and told her my roommate(membership director) needed to ask her something, so could she stay until she came back? So we sat on the porch for awhile and talked about the Tutors and the Borgias shows :D. She got her bid when Alex came back and I'm pretty sure she is accepting it! She just needs to tell her parents she is rushing...I didn't really tell her they were rush events because I wasn't sure if she was actually interested but I wanted everyone to meet her in case she ever was interested, so she didn't know it was rush and was just expecting to rush in the Spring. :D Sorry for the run on sentences, but I'm just SO excited for her to join our sorority and be my sister!
Tomorrow we have a PR lunch in Lodge 1, then I have archaeology and French...and I'll be in swem until like 10.....oh the joys of writing papers.
I know I have mentioned it a few times before, but I'm starting to make headway with my ideas of starting a fashion blog. I have looked at a few blog sites and what they offer for free(I'm a broke college student, I'm not going to pay to write my thoughts down haha), and I think I'm going to choose wordpress for my site. Any insight as to whether this is a good place for blogs? I kind of want to do a fashion/literature blog where I discuss styles and such and also really interesting books that I'm reading, or things I read for classes(c'mon people, a lot of it really is interesting ;)... Let me know what you think!
