Step #1: The Visit Levi and Bienna are having dinner alone. [L] Okay, pay attention. You are going to his house tomorrow at midday, and ask to see his father about something security-related. [B] But he is not at home at that time of day. [L] Exactly. Step #2: The Accident Nightfall. Levi and Bienna are getting ready to leave the poolside. [L] That was painful to see. [B] You were laughing the whole time! I tried, okay? I tried falling into the fountain, but it’s not my fault they are so good at their jobs! [L] Okay, fine, I’ll help you. He pushes her into the pool. Step #3: The Slumber Party Afternoon before dinner. [L] Okay, so you guys get dinner and then you ask him to stay over for the night. [B] That’s a bit blunt even for me. [L] Okay, then say we had a fight and that you don’t want to go back home. [B] But I don’t want to lie to him. [L] You have to. [B] I don’t want to. [L] See? We are already fighting, it’s not a lie anymore. [B] Come on! [L] Fine! Then say I have someone over tonight. Bienna starts laughing. He remains serious. [B] Wait. You actually DO have someone over tonight! What!? [L] You have to leave right now if you want to make it. [B] We are not done, mister, we’ll talk in the morning. Step #4: The Final Act [B] So? What now? [L] Now you hold on to a good thing. +Bonus: Levi back in his room.

bienna x levi | through the years

Queen Alanis always said to Bienna, “Even if you weren’t meant to be brother and sister, you were always meant to be friends”. The bond of friendship between both their mothers was strong enough to live through another generation. It always felt obvious for Bienna that Levi would play a big part in her life.

When she was born and Levi’s mother brought her home, he quickly understood that it was his duty to protect her and swore that he would. It was always easy for her to call him “brother”, even after learning the truth. They moved to Venus together, studied together, trained together, shared a room and understood each other.

They both were strong-willed, stubborn and curious. Bienna liked to improvise and Levi was always the man with a plan. He would always anticipate events and plan accordingly. Nobody was surprised when he started his training to be Lorella’s adviser. The day of the attack, he escaped death by mere chance, because Bienna asked him to stay in Venus one more night for her birthday. He was getting back to Mars when it happened. Both Lorella and his mother, along with their security team, were killed.

When Bienna took her sister’s place, Levi stepped in to be her adviser.

It’s all starting to get blurry now. My memory plays games with me and I can’t be sure if everything was as perfect as I remember. A part of me is sure that all those years are perfectly safe inside my head. Another part wishes it would just forget; forget the good but also forget the pain. And the tiniest side of me still sits by the window looking at the stars and tries to guess which one are you on.
