When co-creator Beck was first coming up with the concept of Before I Forget (Again), he spent a year writing a fact a day about the universe of the show in what has been dubbed the “Nightly Notebook”. This is how most of the characters, settings, and plot were created. In celebration of our Casting Call Launch on January 1st, 2025, we will be dropping bits of non-spoilery lore from the Notebook every day until the casting call launch. Today’s bit of lore is:
Danny is the only honest-to-god tumblr kid of the main cast. It’s a good thing that Cielle was never exposed to it, though, because the FuckYeahSwing! blog that she would’ve run would’ve been as embarrassing as it was anachronistic.
