So this basically confirms even further that they are looking for Shirou and trying to kill him. I’m very interested in why.

Maybe they’re an extension of Angra? Angra did describe Shirou as someone he disliked. Or, to be more accurate, what he said he disliked in people perfectly fit Shirou.

So maybe they are searching for Shirou because he best fits Angra’s description of hatred, so they’re inevitably drawn to kill him.

I do find it interesting that because of that event, which neither of them can fully remember, Archer lets people come into Shinto at night. Like he just got a different feeling because Shirou bested him that one night.
