"Well thats enough fake mourning, lets get back to normal" Mariah says, her tone instantly shifting back to its usual casual sound, as she pulls out a USB from her pocket.

"Mariah.....whats that?, what are you doing?", I question moving closer curiously.

"Well, I suppose the truth is bound to come out sooner or later, me, Lucian, and Ozwald have all seen each other before this, of course different versions of ourselves, Lucian as Luberus the God of darkness and Light , Ozwald as Ozymandias the god of technology and the future, those are there past selves, the me that stand before you is The version of Mariah before she meets there god selves, although I do still have all the memories of my future incarnation, We where part of a...family...but thats not important, what is important is getting Ozwald back and this USB contains one of Ozymandias copies, ive already eraserd his old data off of it, all we need to do is just add our own memories of Ozwald as he was and then we got him back good as new"

"Bitch wtf....like what!, you remember that like me and Ozym where both unstable right, and your just gonna use one of his copies!", Lucian shouts trying to wrestle the USB away from mariah only to be wrapped up in chains Mariah summoned. "Urgh get these off you insane witch, someone else stop her!"

"Mariah Calm down, we don't need to bring Ozwald back, thats just how things are", I say trying to put a paw on Mariahs shoulder only to be blown backwards from mariahs magic. "Fuck, ow", I grunted rubbing my scraped knee the fur there matted and slightly bloodied.

Thorne and Valorie look towards Mariah

-Mariah

"oh, please don't even try", Mariah says waving her hand freezing the remaining three in place. "You'll all thank me later or not, I can always just wipe your memories whatever works best" Mariah says in her typical calm tone, as the USB fully uploads, bringing up a pixelated avatar that looks similar to Ozwald but also different, when suddenly.

-Ozwald

"oof", Ozwald grunts as he's stumbles back out from the door, covered in colorful bead necklaces, and wearing a very rave centric outfit. "lollapalooza 4 ever heheh", Ozwald shouts giggling, before he notices the rest. "Huh, why...why is everyone tied up! and what are you doing with my computer!", Ozwald panics as he rushes over.

Mariah freezes as she sees Ozwald, "But...I thought...you're back!"

Suddenly, the entire platform begins to shake, and the computer screen goes dark.

(Music to hype this next part up a bit)

The computer shakes and then rises, everyone is terrified, and confused as the blog space (the area where all this happens) continues to shake.

"Whats going on!", I shout

"Mariah, you idiot...!", Lucian yells out

-Mariah.

"Im...im sorry everyone go, run hurry, he's coming...!", Mariah shouts unfreezing the rest. "Head for the gate back to your universe! HURRY!", Mariah yells, as electricity begins to shoot out of the computer, forming a bubble of bright crackling sparks.

Thorne grabs Valorie, alric, and Me and runs towards the exit gates.

"Arghhh", I grunt in pain as the moment makes my scraped knee flare up.

-Valorie

"Here, allow me", Valorie says putting her hands on the wound and chanting something in her native tongue slowly healing it.

"Thanks Val, you two thorne", I say looking back at the remaining three standing near the floating computer.

-Thorne

"Don't thank me yet, still got to get outta here and somewhere safe, the whole place seems to be coming apart", Thorne says we a grunt as he moves along, even as more and more Cracks begin to appear through the Blog Space.

-Ozwald.

"oh no no no....what have you done!", Ozwald screams at mariah. "That was his prison, I was the insulator, meant to keep him inside, without me the only thing keeping him out of the real world is a physical conduit or vessel, and you gave him one!"

-Mariah

"He was erased, during the Calamity War, I thought you where his new future self!", Mariah shouts as she squints her eyes as light floods the area as the ball of electricity grows brighter.

-Ozwald

"You can't erase the future, not fully...never...and I was never his new self I was his parallel, a varient of the original Ozzie, not Ozymandias... but you put one of his copies in my system he can project himself onto the physical world with nothing to stop him...The Herald of the future is upon us..", Ozwald says looking on mournful.

-Mariah

"Cheer, Cry, sing, Scream", Mariah continues

-Lucian

"But do not fear, for the future is already here".

The three look up at the growing ball of energy, and know that things are about to change.

Getting Ready for Important Events

Do you have a prom coming up? Or a black tie event, a graduation, a wedding? Maybe nothing at all, but here is a beginner’s guide to (my personal) guide of beauty resources for big events.

1. If you’re planning to wear your hair up for an event, don’t get any keratin treatments done a couple of weeks before. Your hair will not stay in place.

2. Start dress shopping as early as possible. The more you leave things for last minute, the more hectic things will get.

3. Don’t buy dresses too small in hopes that you will lose a lot of weight in time. Buy it as per your current size. Drastic short term weight loss is unlikely.

4. Try the dress on at least 3 times before the event - once when you buy/ receive it; once when your event is about a week away; and 2-3 days prior. The reason being that weight can fluctuate. If you need to give it for alterations, you need to have a few days on your side. Make sure you have the right underwear.

5. Don’t get any facials done a couple of days before your event. Get it done a week or two prior, in case you break out. A lot of women make the mistake of getting facials done last minute or drastically changing their routine for just a few days. Your skin can’t get used to the change so fast and as a result, you break out on the day of the event. Stick to your original routine as much as possible.

6. In my experience, square shaped nails chip the most. If you’re unsure about what sort of nails to get, get a classic French nail, it’ll go with everything.

7. If you’re driving there yourself/ with a friend or in a vehicle that will be parked at the event, it is a good idea to carry an extra pair of flats. Keep it in the car if needed.

8. If you can afford to splurge, best to get waxed rather than shaved. If you have sensitive skin, be careful. You can easily get waxed 2 weeks before the event - waxed skin tends to stay hairless longer, and you won’t accidentally cut yourself with the razor.

9. Your clutch should have oil blotting paper (Sephora has good ones), perfume sample, a little cash, card, lipstick, hair tie and mints.

10. If you’re buying new shoes for this event, break into them. Put some talc powder around the edge of shoes and try to walk at least 3-4 minutes everyday until the event. Wear thin socks initially so that you don’t get any injuries.

11. If you’re stuck between two outfits, or if you have more than one event to attend to in a row, make an outfit PDF. Take pictures of yourself in each outfit, with its corresponding jewellery, accessories and shoes. Upload each outfit + accessories + potential hairstyles + make up looks + nails (the last three can be sourced from Pinterest) to Microsoft Word/ Apple Pages. Place each look on each page. Make sure that everything is clear and visible. Export it to PDF. You can print it if you like.

12. Don’t eat anything junk one week before your event. Start your days with lots of water, green juices, fruits and vegetables. Refrain from alcohol, smoking.

13. Start whitening your teeth a month before the event (if you’ve been given that much notice). Crest is decent.

14. If you’re getting your hair and make up professionally done, it really is a good idea to have a trial run, unless the MUA is tried and tested by you.

15. Plan the day of the event carefully. If your MUA tells you that the make up will take an hour, hold it as 1.5 hours. If your hairdresser says 40 minutes, hold it as 1 hour. Make a schedule for the day so that you are not late. Ensure you have enough time for photos!

Do you think the big event Gin mentioned happened in chapters 1060-1066 or is it something that is bound to happen soon (potentially Rum arc climax)?

From my understanding based on translator's comment, Gin is saying is similar to an idiom that means that one should take care of small matters (FBI serial murder) "before the big event/matter..." (Gin literally: "it is before the big event/matter..."). There was most likely an intent from Gosho to frame Rum as Kuroda by having Gin repeat the same idiom in File 1062 as Kuroda in File 1017.

(just like how he later framed Rum as Wakasa by having Rum show knowledge on romanization style difference in elementary school-level in File 1063 & Rum as Wakita by having Rum show knowledge on Tokyo waves in File 1064).

Gosho is most likely saying from a meta standpoint that the FBI serial murder is just a small matter and that bigger events/matters will come after, so yes, I do believe something is bound to happen soon (in roughly 20 files [volume 105: File 1114-1124], since we get big Rum development every 5 volumes), which is indeed the Rum climax.

My personal prediction for Rum climax is that it's a big BO case where Conan is gonna face Rum as Kudo Shinichi, by taking the spare antidote, and where Shinichi is gonna reveal how big of a threat he really is to Rum/BO by revealing that he has figured out Rum's true identity through the Kohji case. Shinichi will then fake his death like Sherry, where he convinces Rum that no one knew what Shinichi knew and experienced with the BO, and that everyone believes Shinichi is dead now. This is the next big status quo change I can see happen, where everyone thinks Shinichi died, except for Ran, who is told in secret that Shinichi is alive and in hiding because of dangerous enemies.

It’s Tuesday, but feels more like a Friday with tomorrow off and Thanksgiving.  And very excited my son is coming in with his girlfriend from New York for the holiday, and as tradition, we will be running Buffalo’s Turkey Trot (literally the oldest continuously held road race in the world) Thanksgiving morning.  With all the training missed due to injury, not sure what kind of racing shape I’m in.  How to run it will be a ‘game day’ decision.  What will be certain is we will have fun, the Trot is one of the big events of the year around here.

In anticipation of Thursday, an easy 8 miler today.
