I have headcanons for two characters
Jack the grappler
- Despite his almost monstrous looks (considering his face is on the claw) and cold, blunt, and irritable personality, he means well and even has a soft spot for certain visitors (such as scruff and whiff on their visit to help with sorting the garbage). And if any of them are threatened, he never hesitates to snap at said aggressor and give them a good warning
- he likes to collect certain bits of trash as a hobby such as bicycles and shoes
- whenever any graffiti artists sneak into the yards to create art wherever they can, he tolerates them doing it on him (he thinks it looks cool)
Big Mickey the hammerhead crane
- He has suffered from ptsd of almost dying in the events of “Munitions” which affected how dependable he was after he was recovered (shuddering and freezing at the mention of explosives).
- He was transferred from dock to dock until he arrived on sodor to help lend a hand (er hook) at Brendan docks but kept to himself until he eventually grew the courage to introduce himself in “New crane on the Dock”
- Personality wise, he’s the calmest of the trio and is a bit of an unexpected role model by the docks due to his selflessness and uplifting nature towards others…
