Friendly reminder to the folks on knight kink and medieval rp tumblr: calling someone “fair” does not mean pretty or beautiful, it in fact means pale-skinned! Just please keep this in mind when roleplaying :)

UPDATE: according to the Middle English Compendium, it means both beautiful and is also used to describe pale skin. Thank you to @princeromeo for helping to keep me honest!!
