kieran saw little reason to not take advantage of the open male slot regarding the kissing booth. he had to admit he was looking forward to this, sure he could of spent more of his time walking around and seeing more of the carnival but something in his mind told him that this was going to be way more entertaining than anything else he was going to see. the boy stood behind the booth, letting his eyes scan the crowd as his line quickly began to form. his gaze settled on a familiar face, a smirk forming on his lips. “have you been looking for an excuse to kiss me? cute.”

“so, i think i’m going to try and get a date,” she says, looking up from the part of the mural she’s in the middle of painting. she tries her best to make her words sound offhanded and casual, really, but she’s pretty sure it’s not successful. she’s never really been the best at playing it cool, to say the very least. “i mean, after the last time i tried to got turned into a joke  — ” the corner of her lips pinch in a small frown when she remembers the valentines auction and what her basket had sold for, “ — it’s what i deserve, i think. know of anyone who might be interested in accompanying me to the movie night under the stars on friday?”
