Is a love line really necessary in every Thalapathy Vijay's movie?

I was looking at his filmography and for the last 10 years, not one actress, baring maybe Samantha in Theri and Nithya Menen in Mersal, can say that they gave one of their best performances in a Vijay movie as a female lead... Or just had a memorable role really...

Moreover, I need to get a glimpse of his contracts. I know it written somewhere that he can't act opposite the female lead(s) for more than 30 minutes of the total duration of the movie. Mind you a nearly 3 hours movie!

His directors need to come up with stories where a love line is not needed. It's better than half assing, forcing it... Matter of fact, he need a change of pace, these one army man movies are getting predictable and boring.
