i'm not an author, but i could use a boost and decided to participate in @summerscourtney ‘s #BigMeEnergy challenge as a way to celebrate my accomplishments rather than getting wrapped up in my head about things that aren't so great at the moment. writing this really was challenging, but it was a fun exercise in the end and i think you should participate, too! *** Lauren Spath Luhring works every day to make the world a better place for those around her. In her day job as a software developer, she works with a fantastic team to build tools and products that are used by people all over the world in order to help them lead more energy efficient lives. She is an adept technologist with a focus on backend development and an emerging project leader. Spath Luhring is known for her candor and uses her voice to amplify and promote ideas of diversity and inclusion as often as she can. In her role as Vice Chair of her city's Cultural Arts Commission, she has the privilege of awarding grants to local community members and educators in order to further arts appreciation and education. She uses her position to promote arts activities that are inclusive of and accessible to people from all walks of life as a means of bringing people together. Outside of professional work, Spath Luhring recently rearranged all of her organs in order to grow and give birth to a healthy baby boy. This boy, her second son, joins his older brother and dad as the newest member of Spath Luhring's loving family.
