This is a very fair point! …also, "Posey" is really easy to spell. I can never remember how to spell Hoechlin, like… there were about six months where I called him, "Tyler Whorebath" because I couldn't remember how to spell his surname and assumed it was pronounced, "hotch-lin" (apparently, it is actually pronounced, "heck-lin"). (…this is my constant solution for celebrity names that I can't remember how to spell, c.f. Hayden Pantyraid and Milo Ventimochalatte.) and like, even now, half the time, I end up Googling how to spell, "Hoechlin" so like, I understand why Hoechlin ends up being "Tyler" and Cute Tyler ends up being, "Posey"… but it still irrationally bothers me because the pattern is wrong, everybody stop making the pattern wrong.

see cuz in a lot of fics michael is like creepy older brother and def don't want to picture him as sweet adorable matt cohen. but in this one it's like "oh cas had a crush on him when they first met but now they're friends" and im like "maybe matt cohen???" lol
