You stared outside your window, watching the raindrops land on the glass and how it slides down until another fell. Being a reserved individual, you never had the energy to make friends and that seems to show since no one even tried to befriend you, which is very beneficial for you. Unfortunately, you also happened to be a hopeless romantic so the solitude does get to you sometimes, and that seems to be your mood today, falling and grey like the raining clouds outside.
A sigh of relief left your lips as you finally hear the school bell ringing and your classmates' chattering as they stood up from their seats. You remained seated, your dull eyes continues to stare outside the yard when suddenly you felt eyes on you. You heaved out a soft sigh before looking to the other side which happens to be near the door. There, you met sharp grey eyes. Grey as the sky today, you thought to yourself. He noticed your stare and smiled awkwardly, waving a hand and scratching his nape with the other.
"Your brother's calling for you?" he questioned. You huffed a snort at his behavior. Standing up from your seat, you took your bag and slowly walked up to the door. Your eyes didn't leave his as you approached him. He stood frozen still, his grey eyes widening with an unreadable glint. You stopped right in front of him, tilting your head to the left a little. You felt your hair tickle your cheek and the back of your neck at your subtle movement.
Another sigh, you walked pass him after a few moments of silence. You can feel his eyes on you. Whether with hostility or something else you refuse to name, you ignore the bubbling emotion you desperately tucked deep in the roots of your thoughts.
