Stella gifted her son a copious amount of chocolates and cookies she attempted to make herself.. she was never a great cook, but an attempt was definitely made.
One gift she did manage to make though without issue was a knitted scarf. a fun thing about being an all powerful space being is that she can create her own 'wool' that looks how she pleases by manipulating space dust. So of course the wool she used looks like a nebula itself was spun into thread. the colors ever shifting and ever so soft.
Here is what the note had: "Merry Christmas to my precious bean sweet honey love muffin. I love you very very much and I'll try my hardest to spend more time with you.
I know you don't need clothing since you can make your own but i figured an accessory wouldn't hurt. Hope you love it!

He wasn't expecting the homemade sweets because he knew that baking wasn't one of his Mother's strong suits. So those come as a pleasant surprise, ones he is quick to try. If nothing else they were edible, and something about knowing they were from his Mother made them even better.
The scarf is immediately draped over his shoulders. He didn't usually accessorize outside of his headphones, but for a knitted nebula he could change up his usual attire. Besides, nothing said pride like knowing you were wearing something one-of-a-kind.
