My bike is my love of my life. It's shitty and missing some parts and only has one gear. But it's survived wipe out after wipe out and getting hit by a car and has had tire replacements bc the treads got worn clean off. And it makes me wonder that when I finally start driving will I love my car as much as my bike, or will it just be some sorta side piece. Y'know.

Went for my first bike ride of the YEAR today (yes 6 months in lol oops) and it was so freeing!!!! It was windy as all fuck though so the way home kinda sucked and my legs kinda hurt but still! I love my bike!!!! Yay for being outside and moving very quickly!

In my midnight leisure bike ride route I go straight for a while, then do a big loop, and then straight back along the first section to get home. On the way out, I saw a large creature along the path, thought it was a raccoon, then a skunk, then too big for either, and realized it was a coyote as I passed it.

Thought, "huh, would be funny if it's still here when I come back." Thirtyish minutes later I'm riding back, get to that spot. Two coyotes.
