Hero MotoCorp is the largest two-wheeler selling company in the country. The company has made its name in the two-wheeler industry by selling a record number of vehicles over the past years. After becoming a successful manufacturer of motorbikes, the company began the expansion of the scooter segment. Earlier, Hero had Maestro and the Pleasure as the two only scooter models.
To diversify its scooter portfolio, the R&D department of Hero came up with two new models. These models are Hero Duet and Hero Maestro Edge. In this article, we will get a closer look at Maestro Edge and know all its features. We will also see the list of tyres available for Maestro Edge.
The exterior of Maestro Edge has a muscular look, as it mainly targets male riders. It is much bulkier than Hero Duet. The overall look of Maestro Edge is quite similar to Maestro, but it has got some additional features and few changes in the design as well. Unlike Duet’s all-metal body, Edge’s body is all-plastic.
The headlight of the scooter is big, with twin parking lights on the front apron. The tail section of the scooter is equipped with LED taillight. The Maestro Edge has a new cover with matte paint, which the company calls the “titanium finish.” The scooter is also equipped with dual tone rear view mirrors, digital speedometer console and features like service reminder and side stand indicator.
The ignition key is multi-functional. It works as the steering lock, remote seat release, ignition, and remote fuel lid release. Underneath the taillight body section, the fuel cap is placed, which cannot be seen externally. The compartment under the seat has 22 litres for storage, along with boot light and mobile charging socket
