Every day I put a note in my kids lunch box. One day I was feeling inspired and drew a little pokemon on my note. It has since spiraled completely out of fucking control and I now have a dedicated sketch book for drawing his lunch notes (that also include character stats.)

Here’s how it started

My Pidgeotto was my pride and joy

Then I got some bigger paper

I mean…..it’s kind of recognizable. There’s nine tails so that helps.

WELL. Then I just….did as I do and went fucking ham on this shit. This is what his notes have looked like this week

I may fail in many regards as a human and a mother, but my fucking lunch notes are on POINT. Hopefully my kid remembers these when he’s in therapy 20 years from now.

So my kid is a cheerleader and his squad is going to state AGAIN. Every day I put a drawing of a random Pokemon in his lunchbox. Every now and then I’ll throw in a little watercolor painting of one and call it a SUPER ULTRA RARE PAINTED one.

Well.

I found a cheerleader Pokemon.

Guess what he’s getting in his lunchbox the day after state?
