Could I ask for a quest for a Witch of Breath? :)

Of course you could!

Coming off the back of another Witch, the Witch of Breath would need to temper their manipulation of freedom, wind, and confidence. They need to understand how much freedom is enough, and how much they should use.

Therefore, a good quest for them would be in the Land of Chains and Gates. I firmly believe that there is some kind of tie between Breath and music, as well as Witches, so you can probably guess what will be appearing here! 

The chains that keep the rusted gates shut are firmly bound shut, and you must sing the right song to loosen the gates. However, if you sing too loud, then you will wake up the crabby crustacean consorts, who will nip at you to no end! Only through the perfect pitch will you be able to continue all the way to the denizen!

hello! why nose for mind? also, how about teeth for rage instead? then mouth could be for void (because we use talking to create "voidy" barriers like secrets and lies and distance), and hands for space? i feel like hands could be good for an aspect of creation and physics?

nose for mind bc terezi literally “sees” through her sense of smell, and latula has to cope with her lack of such.

im very unsure about rage but it’s a really badly defined aspect to begin with.

1. things that inspire you 

music and fanart inspire me a lot! honestly, I think most of my long fics ideas came to me because of songs or drawings. ‘Those Colours We Share’ and ‘Crimson Water’ were inspired by fanart, ‘Somewhere Only We Know’ by the song of the same title (the Lily Allen cover), ‘Petrichor’ by Saturn (Sleeping At Last), and my future Big Bang fic by Mars (Sleeping At Last) :D

2. favorite place to write 

I just love writing on the train while listening to music! But writing in cafés is pretty nice as well, as long as the playlist is a good one.

49. writing advice

ooh my, uh... I'm so bad at giving advice? let’s say... don’t do like me when I started writing and never use something else than the character’s name and their pronoun once you’ve introduced the character with their name like just bURN EVERYTHING ELSE that is all (also you’re great and your writing is always better than you think it is because you’re the author, and that is probably a piece of advice I should follow myself)

4. name three authors that were influential to your work and tell why

Neil Gaiman. Reading his books showed me a very practical, but also eerie side to writing. I can’t explain how he’s influenced me, tbh, but he helped me explore different ways of writing.

Ernest Hemingway. His books are overextended and needy, but I love them. His work influenced me to be more simplistic in my prose, and never substitute a word for one that is already adequate. The simpler, the better, really. I also love his repetition, and I use that a lot in my stories because i find it very resonating.

Richard Siken. He’s influential to the poems I write, but also to my stories. His poems sort of inspire me to use different prose and be more poetic where it needs to be, or can be.
