Bill Shuster Joins GlobalX Board of Directors
Chris Jamroz serves as the chief executive officer of STG Holdings in South Kearny, New Jersey. In addition to his oversight of North America’s most comprehensive network of independent container freight station facilities, Chris Jamroz serves as the executive chairman of Ascent Global Logistics. Miami, Florida’s Global Crossing Airlines Group, Inc., has announced that Bill Shuster will join the GlobalX Board of Directors, occupying one of two seats held by Ascent Global Logistics. A Pennsylvania congressman from 2001 until his retirement in 2019, Shuster gained relevant experience during his time on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, among other appointments. His accomplishments as a representative were highlighted by the passing of the FAA Re-Authorization Act of 2018, as well as legislation designed to enhance the nation’s air and railway transportation networks. Ed Wegel, chairman and chief executive officer of GlobalX, welcomed Shuster to the board and pointed out his extensive experience with organizations such as the United States Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Administration. Speaking on behalf of Ascent Global Logistics, Chris Jamroz specifically highlighted Shuster’s knowledge of aviation regulatory and compliance issues.
