NASA'nın En İkonik Görüntülerinden Biri Olan 'Earthrise' Arkasındaki Hikaye Apollo 8 mürettebat üyeleri uzay aracında ayın yörüngesinde dönerken, Bill Anders şimdiye kadar yapılmış en ikonik uzay fotoğraflarından biri olan Earthrise'ı yakaladı.

Exactly 50 years ago, this small flag was carried to and around the Moon by the astronauts of Apollo. It was given by Bill Anders to one of his childhood best friends, Gil Newton, my father-in-law. On that first human orbit of the moon, Bill Anders pointed the NASA Hasselblad towards our home planet as they came around from the dark side of the moon and his photo became known as Earth Rise(Scroll to view).
