You remember the Apollo mission, the first steps on the moon.

It is the discovery of the universe which is the subject of this article.

To accompany it, a sheet of vintage stamps issued in 1969 by Yemen; these stamps are new and unused.

The photo montage that is offered to you shows astronauts, sattelites, the earth and the moon as well as other spacecraft.

This results in 2 A4 prints with the stamp sheet stuck on one of them.

You can see these impressions in view 1 as well as in views 3 and 4, after the video.

The lunar scouts. Before the Apollo astronauts could land on the Moon 🌙 , NASA’s Lunar Orbiter program was key in finding the appropriate landing sites. . The program consisted of 5 unmanned probes that were launched between 1966 and 1967. . The probes used an ingenious method to capture images using dual lens camera 📷 (bottom left) - one which provided high resolution images and the other low resolution ones on the same film. In addition to photographing the Moon’s surface, the program also provided us the first picture of Earth from the Moon 🌚 (bottom right). .
