interviewer: "billie, this is your eighth year doing the time capsule interview. today, we're doing something special by having your partner join us. how does it feel?"

billie: "honestly,it's feels weird in a good way. watching these interviews over the years has been like flipping through a diary. having my beautiful wife here makes it even more special because so much of my growth is intertwined with them. we met before i started doing these and i’m glad for her to be a part of something that is very special when it comes to my career."

the interviewer turns to you.

interviewer: “how does it feel to be part of this tradition?"

you: "it's an honor. i've seen billie evolve through these interviews, and being here now feels like a full-circle moment. i’m remember billie being so excited for the first one she did, so getting to be here means a lot.

year one – 2017

billie: "back then, i was just starting out. I had 257,000 followers and was overwhelmed by the attention. we had just met at a local music event a few months before. she complimented my performance, and we started talking. that was the beginning of a relationship i didn't expect."

you: "i remember thinking how genuine she was. i was there getting social media content for the company sponsoring the event when we had crossed paths. despite the buzz around her, she was grounded and kind."

year three – 2019

billie: "touring was intense. i had toured before with don’t smile at me but this was my first world tour. i felt like i was losing touch with reality being away from home so long, but my wife was my anchor. we'd facetime between shows, and her voice reminded me of home. we had been dating for a year at that time."

you: "i remember being so happy for b. it was challenging, but we made it work. our first year together, we saw each other almost every day, so this tour was definitely something that we worried about when it came to our relationship. communication became our lifeline."

year five – 2021

billie: "i was in a better place mentally. in the interview, i said i was hopeful and happy. a big part of that was my baby. she supported me unconditionally. we had just moved in together and had gotten engaged a few weeks before.

you: "we had grown together. our bond was stronger, and we understood each other deeply. moving in together and being committed to one another was a big part of that year."

year seven – 2023

billie: "we didn't release an interview that year, but we recorded one. It was a transformative year. we celebrated five years together, we had gotten married the year before, and our relationship matured."

you: "being married brought new challenges, but also beautiful moments. we learned more about each other every day in a more intimate way because we were building a life together."

year eight – 2024

billie: "this year, I said, 'i can't believe where my life has gone, and where it is now.' having my wife by my side has been the most consistent and comforting part of this journey. especially more than ever because she’s having our first child soon.

you: "it has been a journey and i am grateful to have billie by my side through it all. she has been my rock and i am so excited for this new chapter of being parents."

interviewer: "your story is inspiring. any advice for those navigating relationships amidst personal growth?"

billie: "communicate openly, support each other's dreams, and never lose sight of the love that brought you together."

you: "grow individually and together. celebrate each other's successes and be there during the lows. it's a journey worth taking."

"hey everyone," you begin, your voice calm but with a hint of nervousness. "it's been a while since i’ve posted. life has changed drastically in the past year.

you pause, collecting your thoughts. "over the past year, billie and i have started a new chapter in our lives together that we chose to keep private until now. we welcomed our beautiful daughter, riley into the world six months ago."

a big smile spreads across your face as memories flood in. "discovering I was pregnant was a lot of emotions: excitement, fear, anticipation. billie and i decided to keep this experience away from the public eye because we wanted to have a private space to be first time parents before telling the outside world.”

you glance down briefly, hands resting on your lap. the room shimmered under soft glow of the lights, a haze falling over the crowd of influencers, designers, and celebrities. it was one of those fashion afterparties, you had been to a few times before.

everyone was important, and everyone had influence.

you were there to look pretty and network.

you adjusted the strap of your black satin dress, trying not to let nerves get to you. you didn’t care for these events but were getting used to them.

you were a rising name in the modeling world now. fenty, dior, miu miu, and even walking for versace.

for this moment you forgot about about all your doubts and worries until you snapped back into your pessimistic nature.

you shook your head, laughing again, shy and baffled. “are you always this nice to strangers?”

her face softened. “only when i want to know now more about them.”

your smile faded for a split second. you stared at her, genuinely unsure of what to say.

after a pause, billie leaned in slightly. “i mean everything i say.”

you blinked. “what?”

“you keep looking at me like you don’t know if i’m serious or not,” she said gently, without judgment. “like there’s no way i would actually mean any of this.”

you swallowed hard, lips parting. it was too real. too accurate.

“i’ve seen the way people look at you tonight,” she said, voice quiet now. “and I get it. you’re stunning. you don’t need anyone to tell you that to be it. but I want to.”

there was a long silence.

finally, you whispered, “i-i’m just not use to hearing it from anyone.”

her eyes held yours, steady and clear.

with a deep breath, you started with a basic spin around the pole, building up speed before launching into a series of fluid transitions - invert to spin into a split.

you kicked up into an aerial invert, grabbing the pole behind your back. you spiraled down into a lying spin, hips undulating sensually as you traveled up and down the pole.

for the big finish, you climbed high up the pole and hooked one leg in an elbow hold, bent at a perfect 90 degree angle. your free leg extended straight out, pointed toes flexing. you held the pose for a moment before releasing, tumbling down the pole into a crouch.

breathing heavily, you unhooked your leg and stood up, waiting for rhea to react. she whooped and applauded, whistling loudly.

"you were so amazing, baby!" rhea cheered, rushing over to grab you and pull you in for a passionate kiss. you grinned against her lips.

"i'm so glad you liked it," you murmured, nuzzling her neck.

as they were leaving. paparazzi swarmed taking pictures and asking questions. they were able to make it through and get home safely to you.

you loved going out nightclubs, house parties, and all that.

but you loved going to raves.

more importantly what they stood.

peace, love, unity. you had met some of your best friends at them especially through your college years.

raves brought you some of your favorite memes. including meeting your girlfriend, billie.

she helped you find your friends when you got separated from them and the rest was history.

you loved billie with all your heart. she was sweet, caring, and secure in your relationship.

while you loved to go out, billie didn’t. the only reason the two of you met was because her friends dragged her out of the house that night.

even though raves weren’t billie’s thing she was more than willing to help you get ready for them.

doing your hair and makeup. helping you pick out an outfit.

she wasn’t totally against them though, she would definitely go out if you asked her which wasn’t often because you wanted to respect her preference.

however, you would text her every half hour to keep her updated on what you were doing.

she didn’t ask you to because she trusted you but you knew she appreciated it.

you could always see the hint of worry on her face but you were generally safe at these events.

you didn’t really separate from your friends. you didn’t really drink and you never did drugs.

so tonight was like any other night of going out. billie helped you get ready while the two of you giggled and each other’s company before you left with two of your friends.

you were going to this rave on the outskirts of town. not to far from billie’s apartment.

you kissed billie bye before getting in the back seat of your friends car. the drive was fun. singing along to music and getting hyped up for the party.

when you got to the party. your friend pulled out the pills she always took before most parties and offered your other friend one.

before she could put the pills back in her bag, you stopped her and said “i wanna try one this time.”

both of your friends look at you shocked.

“are you sure?” your friend asked you worried.

you said yes reassuring her before she handed you a pill and took it.

as you were walking towards the building to the party, you decided to call billie and let her know what was going on.

you told her that you were about to head in and that you had taken a pill.

“ok love. let me know if you need me to come and get you if it gets to be too much.”

“ok baby i love you”

“i love you too, and have fun”

after your conversation with billie, you and your friends headed in and went straight to the dance floor.

it didn’t take long for the pill to kick in. about 45 minutes into you dancing everything slowed down. your body felt five times heavier and you couldn’t really focus on anything or anyone. you couldn’t find your friends but you could hear them calling for you faintly.

you tried calling billie but you couldn’t hear her properly.

you felt yourself losing all your senses and decided to try and get some air off the dance floor.

you stumbled towards the bathroom and sat down on the floor as you got a text:

after that conversation, you felt yourself losing consciousness of and you tried to keep yourself awake.

you heard your phone ring and was to answer it so you could at least hear billie’s voice.

“oh my god, babe are you ok!? do you need me to come and get you?” billie frantically said as she tried to talk to you.

you tried to talk, but there was no use. you couldn’t really control yourself anymore and just sat there with your head hanging down as billie tried to get more details from you about your state of mind

“babe!? babe? baby!” billie was yelling and you could tell that she was worried,

but you couldn’t do anything about it as she continued to yell to get your attention you let the darkness consume you and passed out on the bathroom floor.

“i’m coming to get you.” was the last thing you heard before you completely blacked out.
