riley x sheen - 🍫 to give my muse a box of chocolates
as the box of chocolates was presented, riley should see it for what it probably is meant to be - some kind of romantic gesture that sheen's trying to make for them. but rather than viewing it that way, they just see an opportunity for some potential fun. "is it a mystery box?!" they ask excitedly, moving to open the box and look inside. a grin grows on their face when they indeed see that all of the chocolates look fairly similar with no real indicator for what flavors they may be. "yes! want to play a game with it? we have to guess what kind we think it is before we both try it and whoever gets the most right wins. and then... i don't know they get to pick whatever we do for the night or something."
oscar x claudette - 🍷 to invite my muse to dinner
being asked to spend valentines day with oscar had been a surprise in and of itself - but when he said he’d pick her up there was even more confusion. why bother going out of his way to go to her place when they were just going to return to either the bordes home or his office at nightmares like they always did? but she didn’t fight it, agreed easily and let him have his moment for whatever this may be. what she hadn’t expected was for the two of them to arrive at a restaurant rather than either of the locations she had assumed they would be going. as the car stopped and oscar began to get out there’s a moment of hesitation on claudette’s end before she follows suit. it shouldn’t be such a big deal - going out in public together - considering it’s been more than a handful of months since they’ve started whatever it is the two of them are doing, but privacy had always been important to both of them. especially oscar. so for him to be the one making the next step in being seen together publicly like this... it had to mean something didn’t it? claudette just wasn’t sure what. and at first she doesn’t want to question it, in fear of ruining whatever might be happening, but as they enter the building and oscar gives his name to the hostess saying he’s here for a reservation she realizes this was more than just a last minute decision. so when they get to their table and take a seat, she stares at him for a moment before finally speaking. “this is new,” she comments, as if he wasn’t also aware of that - but she wasn’t about to take the risk of ruining things before they even start by asking what exactly it all meant.
luka x vanessa - 🌷 to kiss my muse
they weren’t doing anything special - in fact luka was fairly certain vanessa didn’t even remember that it was valentine’s day. or if she did she wasn’t making a big deal out of it or letting on that she cared about that kind of thing, which luka doubted she did that much. at least not the way his sister and marinette always cared about it. so like always he followed her lead and didn’t make a big deal out of it. but as they sat together and he looked over at her, simply just listening to him play some music, he couldn’t help himself and his within a moment his guitar was set to the side as he leaned forward towards her. catching her attention, luka hesitates for a just a moment, searching vanessa’s face to ensure this was alright before closing the gap between them to place his lips on her own.
