STILL BILL ( pt 1 of 2) I woke up this morning with alot on my mind I looked outside, but " Ain't no Sunshine" And I knew it wouldn't be a "LOVELY DAY" Cause it's a "LONELY TOWN and LONELY STREET" now that you've passed away I often let the Ancestors"Use Me" and the Creator too But "I Can't Write Left Handed" So as I write this to you... "Just As I Am", a fan And " You Let Me Into Your Life" "You Got The Stuff" that makes me say "I Wanna Spend The Night" Listening to your songs Cause danm..." You Do It Good" So I write this poem "For My Friend" never once misunderstood I remember when "Just The Two Of Us" got to talk for a minute or two And your family was looking like "Who Is He and What Is He To You?" As they were "Watching Me, Watching You" but they didn't know the half I wish I could say " Hello Like Before" and you could give me "The Same Love That Made Me Laugh" For, you wrote songs that are timeless And "Make Love To Your Mind" That's why STEVIE WONDER inducted you into the ROCK-N-ROLL HALL OF FAME He could see it and he's considered to be blind... You went from SLAB FORK, WEST VIRGINIA all the way to "Harlem" And How you made a living Was from the songs/ stories you told For those on " Heartbreak Road" Cause you masterd the " Gift Of Giving" You had your " Grandma's Hands" all up in your Art While I wanted you to "Lean On Me" But you did your part You "Let Me In Your Life" for a brief moment through an interaction Though earlier in life, you had already inspired my singing and rappin' "Can We Pretend" you're still alive ?
