"Billiam?" Jervis knocks at Billy's door, nearing mid-afternoon. Lunch with Alice's parents has ended, and he found himself craving some easygoing company when Alice herself declared she had things to do in town.
Billy fit the bill. And given that the man's Impala was downstairs, he was most likely home. "Billiam, are you in there? It's Tetch - I have tea with me, for you."
"Do open the door, dear chap."

16.) Are there any blood relatives that your character is particularly close with, besides the immediate ones? Cousins, Uncles, Grandfathers, Aunts, etcetera. Are there any others that your character practically considers a blood relative?
I haven't really developed the rest of Miriam's family yet, so no on the first one. Second, not really. If she did, possibly Billy. He once mentioned she's like a sister, so...
Do you really think that? I just had a less than pleasant comment from an anon... *looks depressed*

9.) Who does your character trust?
The two people Miriam really trusts right now are Billy Haskell and Joan Leland. They've had good times and some not-so-good times together. One of the not-so-good times being kidnapped by a Riddler and a Scarecrow. As unpleasant as that experience was, they sort of bonded over it. Their bonding isn't limited to that though.
Miriam views Billy as kind, loving, and loyal. She views Leland as intelligent, caring, and forgiving. She can't see them as being untrustworthy.
Tetch answers his phone, setting Archibald aside. He'd just finished writing.
This didn't prevent his surprise at who was on the other line. "Billy? ...Well, good to hear from you, my boy! Ah - yes. I think so, anyway. Alice keeps smiling at near to anything, and the entire joyous atmosphere is wonderfully engaging and the slightest bit contagious..."
"I think I love it here." Jervis laughs softly, leaning back against his headboard.
"How is everyone back home?"
