I cannot emphasise enough that Rio lets Billy go. Agatha, a person who is going to die someday, dying in the place of someone who is taking a second life doesn’t even out the balance. Not really. Rio needed something to use as a reason to let this boy, who reminds her love so much of their son, live.

She lets him go after Agatha dies. She doesn’t take back what is rightfully hers and she lets him go find another who has broken the rules. She loves Agatha so much she gives her more time again.

The fact that Billy heard Vision and Wanda’s “We’ve said goodbye before, so it stands to reason - we’ll say hello again.” Can you imagine how comforting that would be? Your world is ending and you can’t hear your brother breathing any more but you can still feel him. You can still feel your parents. And right when you’re about to lose them you hear them reassuring each other that it isn’t over, not forever. Just for now.

Okay hear me out! Teen being Wanda son and Agatha’s son can still happen.

Agatha loses Nicholas as a baby/toddler. William says “thank you, for everything” to his father at the bar mitzvah. This has significant meaning based on his father’s returning look. I’m assigning it as William being adopted aka Nicholas ends up as William Kaplan.

The rest follows the show as we know but with the certainty that Billy and William combined in death (“am I William or am I Billy?!”). Ergo, he is both Agatha(/Rio) and Wanda’s son.

The way Agatha overcompensates after her conversation with Rio on the Road. Cackling, gesturing wildly, meaner and more jabs than usual. She slammed the mask back on so hard it started slipping off.

Billy absolutely moved the ‘end’ of the Road forward so Agatha would trip and eat shit. Subconsciously or not, he wanted her to stop with the whole “get ready for fireworks! Get ready for spectacle!” and the wild gestures and he did it in the funniest way possible
