This album seems to have been a private pressing, from what little information I can find on it, which is a damn shame; if this tune is any indication, it’s a fine record. It doesn’t slow down except for a few brief breaks to give the drummer a chance to bust out a sweet fill, and in the meantime showcases some really energetic flute and piano solos. The bassist does a good job laying down a nice groove, too.
