Billy slouched against the railing of his hospital bed, the cuff on his wrist kept him there most of the day and if he had to listen to it rattle around for much longer, he was sure he was going to go mad. His nose twitched for a moment, the gash from cheek to cheek itching as he moved his head up to look at who was coming in the room. He glanced over the name-tag, the name ringing a dull bell, but, not exactly sure if he was right. "Hey, Evie." He smirked, almost sounding sing-songy as he waited to gauge her reaction. "Give it to me straight, Doc. Am I gonna live? Or, have they sent you here to make my last days worth living?" His tone was somewhere between flirty and sarcastic, not really managing to commit to either. "Y'know, I could do with the company, either way. No food or movies? What am I supposed to do all day?"
