"Your movie, Tatum? Gee, I hope it's a porno and not some low-budget slasher flick." He grinned, sarcastic and biting. He didn't feel she was any real threat to him, after all, he'd wiped her out once before, what was an encore? "So, what's my role? The big bad? I hope there's a plot twist, it sounds predictable already. Straight to VHS if you ask me." He snickered. @tcrturedpcetsdep

Billy was sat slouched on a bench just outside the hospital's main entrance, the cool London air biting as his bruised skin. It was impossible to relax with the staff keeping a close eye on him and so he'd resorted to judging everyone that walked past as a way to pass his allotted time outside. However, as one in particular walked past, he couldn't help but get involved. "Tatum? No fucking way." His lips twitched into a tight smirk. "You look…good. Been a while, huh? When was the last time we saw each other again?" He was fishing, of course. Who knows who'd gotten to her first and what tale they'd spun about him.

Billy opened the front door just enough to lean against the frame. "Stu's not here." he muttered flatly, though the way his eyes lingered on her suggested he wasn't satisfied with leaving it at that. "What are you doing here anyway?" He left the door open, returning to Stu's couch which had become a home to him since he'd gotten out of hospital. "Whatever. Come in if you want. But, if this is some kind of 'thing' between you two..." his cheeks burnt a bitter scarlet, not wanting to say anything more, but the implication enough to strike his jealousy.

Billy's eyes cracked open and he smiled faintly, ignoring the sting of his injuries. "Didn't think I'd end up in this kind of trouble." he muttered, voice rough but trying to remain playful. He was happy to see her, given everything. "Guess I've looked better." he shifted slightly, wincing at the movement but refusing to break eye contact. "Miss me already, did you?" his fingers tapped lightly against the side of his bed, keeping him alert. "Can't say I blame you. I've been thinking about you a lot since I woke up. Almost, exclusively, as a matter of fact."

Billy's expression hardened as he absorbed Tatum's words, the usual guarded facade he clung so desperately to slipping just a fraction. "Bulletproof?" he repeated, a hint of a crack creeping into his voice at the very end. "You think I care about that? It's not about being bulletproof. It's about not letting anyone or anything get to you." He lost eye contact, his tone low but heavy. "Maybe you're right, but, don't mistake it for weakness." His gaze eventually shifted back to her, trying to force out a smile to push past his feeling of unease. "Everyone's got their limits."

"What? I can't- Just wait a minute." Billy called out, sticking the knuckle of his index finger into his ear and wriggling it around for a second to try and stop the ringing that was drowning out the other's voice. "It's fine. It was nothing. Me and that kid, we just..." He turned round to address what he'd assumed was a concerned onlooker, but, he forgot all about the scrap he'd just come out of when his eyes met with Tatum's. "Tatum?" His eyes widened, though only in shock. He wasn't happy to see her, but, she didn't exactly pose much of a problem either. "What are...What are you doing here? You look..." he trailed off, trying to summon any kind of compliment. "Better."
