It was just another night for Mike, sitting in a small room, waiting for either the sunrise or his inevitable death. Same as always. Except something he kept noticing out of the corner of his eye. Nothing big, just some flicker or shadow.
Setting the screen down for a moment, he checked the light of both doors, and pulled it up again. He had to work fast if he wanted to get anything done.

I am SO sorry for not getting Billy’s present done! I have to summarize wuickly due to being in school right now and having limited time, but hopefully I’ll be on later tonight as well (I’m so glad I can type without looking, I’m keeping my eyes on the teacher and she thinks I’m honestly paying attention-- don’t get me wrong, I am, but man if she knew... I’d be in HEAPS of trouble.) Anyway, to put it simply, I messed up. I lost the original gift due to forgetting to save and it crashing when I was almost complete, and the next one I forgot to digitalize, THEN I lost THAT gift! I found it again later, but due to the paper being crumpled and ripped, I’ll have to retrace, color, then make THAT digital as well. All in all, it may be even longer-- in the meantime, I’ll write up some scraps to tide poor Billy over until I finish. Long story short, I am SUPER SUPER SORRY that I didn’t finish on time! Things just collided and it’s honestly quite annoying, not to mention nagging on my slumbering hours. I’ll do my best to patch this sillyness up as soon as I can!
