a fateful meeting between two springtails (probably Bilobella aurantiaca) in which both parties show a complete lack of interest as they usually do with everything else. if one were to create a ranking of events that changed the world the least, this would be up there

A nice springtail (Bilobella aurantiaca) from the Insugherata park into Rome city. I shot this image this morning while the city was awakening and I felt like being in another planet contained into ours. Shot with @nikonitalia Z7, @venuslaowa 25mm ultramacro and @godoxphotoequipment mf12 macro flashes. Iso 64, f/5,6 and 1/160 sec #bilobella #springtail #tiny #wood #rome #macrophotography #macro #picoftheday https://www.instagram.com/p/CXgmq74qLbZ/?utm_medium=tumblr
