HIYOOOOOOO
*squishes you in greeting*
I watched King Mark play ruin today, wot's that mimic thing all on about?
Mimic lore is that that's my son and they really want William Afton's (deceased) autograph
@bimbomcgee I answered your ask about sea creatures but then deleted it instead of editing it like I wanted so I'm going to answer it again!
So you were probably already subdued, but let's just pretend!
NOW THAT YOU'RE SUBDUED!
I find sea creatures FASCINATING and TERRIFYING much like the sea itself. Have you seen that thing? It's SO BIG! And it's got so much weird stuff in it!
Like anemones?! They're like trees that are also animals and also they hate you! They hate everything except their buddy clownfish! Coral?! Like rocks but ALIVE?! Is coral alive? I dunno anyway
Stingrays? The little majestic sea flap flap? Or the BEEEEEEG majestic sea flap flap?!
It's fuckin CRAZY!
I can't be the only one that thinks Djura would be the best dad ever, right? (Besides from Gascoigne ofcourse) Do you have any thoughts on him and Brador raising someone?
Yes, I do think Djura is the best candidate from Bloodborne to be a dad! He’s patient, he’s caring, absolutely wonderful with kids! If it weren’t for Eileen and Henryk volunteering in his stead, Djura would be the one babysitting Gascoigne’s girls. My only concern with him is him being too trusting of the beasts around children— he’s the epitome of oh he don’t bite when everyone else is yelling YES HE DO!!!
...Brador, on the other hand, I would NOT trust with a child. Sure, he’s a great guard dog and that kid is never going to be in danger from other people, but as a parent? HE is the greatest danger, that kid will be offered alcohol at the ripe ol’ age of 12, given the absolute worst life advice, and worst of all, I don’t think Brador even likes the idea of having kids hfalfaldjdsal. Though, maybe he could be the equivalent of we’re not keeping the cat and ends up loving the cat anyway?
Djura would definitely teach him a thing or two about kids, for sure.
But I think the best way to illustrate the difference between Brador and Djura as parents is this:
SHOE! My ghost huntin' partner <3
Gimme your top 5 historical pieces of armour/ uniforms
Sure thing pardner!
5. The frogmouth helm
When it comes to things, I love me a cripplingly overspecialized thing. The frogmouth helm is good for jousting and literally nothing else. It's nice and thick and well shaped to deflect incoming lances, but visibility while wearing it is terrible enough without mentioning that you can't move your head in it without moving your entire torso. Sure looks cool though.
4. The attempts to bring back plate armor during World War 1
World War 1 sucked. Like, extraordinarily so. It got to the point where the various militaries involved were worried they might Literally Run Out Of Men. The armies of Europe (and also the US) came up with dozens of... let's say wacky ideas, including the return of plate armor. While some designs, such as the above Brewster body shield, did prove somewhat effective at stopping individual rifle rounds, they were usually too heavy for the average soldier and were completely inneffective against machine guns or high explosives, which were the primary causes of death on the frontlines. (And no I don't know why the guy in the picture is holding a flintlock musket)
3. The horned helmet of Henry VIII
2. The Adrian Helmet
Look, I know it's French. But it was also the first modern combat helmet to see service. The French army was the first to decide that too many of its soldiers were dying of shrapnel-induced head wounds on the battlefields of World War 1 and Actually Do Something about it. While not thick enough to deflect a direct hit by a rifle bullet, these things did their job of protecting the head from shrapnel and they did it well. It did it so well, in fact, that it does it better than the US Army's newest model of combat helmet.
1. The hounskull bascinet
hehe dogy :)
Favourite new weapon?
I've been loving the perfume bottles. They let you do wizard shit without needing FP, it's awesome!
I haven’t really played around much with the perfumes. The only time I did was when the lightning one was still bugged and you could one shot bosses with it lmao
I’ve done a playthrough with the martial arts weapon and cool as it is, it’s kinda crap in terms of damage. I quite like the Great Katanas, though I was a little disappointed that two of the three are sombers so you only get one where you can change the AoW which is a bit boring. Same with the Light Greatswords.
I am quite basic though and I do love big weapons. My favourite weapon from the base game is the Zweihander. I like the Ancient Meteoric Ore Greatsword and it’s definitely one of my favourites from the DLC.
But my true love is the big flower you get from the skibidi tree. Big flower go bonk 🌻👊
