I remember....everything. In truth, I never forgotten. I suppose I in some way just pushed every thing to the back. The way I viewed the things that happened to me...to my father....I at one point began to view them as if it was just a scene from those movies that people watch here. It was around that time that my powers began to manifest itself. How I involuntarily summoned those monsters. I didn’t mean to do what I did, but they just showed up one day. It had been so peaceful and all it took were just a bunch of monsters to ruin it all.
Where’s father...?
I remember asking over and over again, asking over the screaming children and the terrified adults. How they looked at me as if I were the monster. I knew what had happened to my father. I remember it so vividly now. I remember everything. The flames that disintegrated the homes, the torn up bodies, the blood. So much blood.
...So much....
Dam-bi’s eyes opens, slow and steady. She’s been seated in front of Sukuna. Legs neatly tucked underneath her proper. The moment she had woke from her nightmare underneath the Eternal Tree, she sought him out immediately. He had said to find him when she remembered everything in full detail and so, here she is, laying it all out for him.
“I don’t know how or why I did it, but it was only the beginning of my awakening. It wasn’t until the villagers had set me on fire that I truly....manifested. I remember thinking that they were delicious. Each and every single one of them. I’m sure that was the curse.”
