We're kinda really upset at the misogyny of the ant memes for depicting worker ants referring to each other as "brother".

Especially as how it should be well known at this point that the workers are NOT male. Ants typically have at least three sexes, and the workers are the WORKER sex, while queens are female and drones are male. Sometimes there are soldiers and guards and others. The sexual morphology of the neuter sexes is closer to female, actually, but they're still very separate!

This is the perfect opportunity to promote and normalize using "sibs" and "siblings", and if you think that "brother" sounds better that's your internalize misogyny and binary sexism and nothing else.

Why the fuck does Spotify ask for your gender when making an account? And there wasn't even a 'prefer not to say' option, let alone any actual inclusive options. I tried leaving it blank, but it won't let you make an account without it. Wtf.
