BingFan are already together but it's like misunderstood as MF being a victim of kidnapping. MF is there on his own choice (unfortunately).

And like GYX is already crushing on MF because like idk he served cunt too hard in front of him once or something. So GYX vows to rescue MF from the evil demonic emperor.

The whole thing is just MF getting kidnapped back and forth, probably while sipping a cup of tea and doing Qing Jing's paperwork.

LBH is like "Shixiong must be so terrified 🥺" and cut to MF and he's having tea while being unsuccessfully courted because he keeps criticizing GYX's ability to make good tea.

Then LBH breaks in and kidnaps MF back and like he's just like "you're an hour late 🤨"

Eventually yaoi happens and GYX gets forcefully added as their third

I'm curious to hear about people's rarepairs, especially the rarer ones, again. Doesn't have to be from a particular fandom. Can be backed only by vibes. Vibes are valid.

My rarer rarepairs for SVSSS are probably Luo Binghe/Gongyi Xiao and PIDW Mobei-Jun/PIDW Ning Yingying.

The former is because I think it would be funny for Binghe to actually get bogged down in the day-to-day running of Huan Hua Palace and he'd need help with that. The Palace Master making Gongyi Xiao effectively Binghe's secretary sounds awkwardly hilarious to me. Also, I think Gongyi "breaking the rules is fine if it's for moral reasons and you don't get caught" + "maybe we should slow down and try to figure this situation out calmly because that doesn't sound right for Master Shen" Xiao would be good for Binghe.

The latter is because, again, I think it's fun to think about who is actually running Bing-Ge's empire. I'm imagining a workplace comedy featuring other key harem members such as Sha Hualing and Liu Mingyan and the Little Palace Mistress more as annoying coworkers. Mobei-Jun is stuck in the incredibly awkward and angsty position of having feelings for another man's wife, and Linguang-Jun is being sooooo petty and mean about it. Also, I think PIDW Ning Yingying deserves a nice divorce or widowing.

Y'know weirdly enough Bingzu does work for my Demon Generals AU. Like he wanted love, right?

He gets familiar love from SY, platonic love (though I might add her to the polycule idk) from NYY, and romantic love from MF and GYX

Hm... Maybe it'd be fun to change the system to take into account the Bingzu stuff

I got distracted today and wrote a 5k outline about a Luo Binghe & Gongyi Xiao canon divergence story, which is still missing an ending because I can’t remember enough about Volume 3 at the moment to figure out how the Zhuzhi-Lang and Tianlang-Jun aspect of this should end. It could be either a gen fic about accidental brotherhood or that and then evolve into a rarepair ship fic, because either could work. Initial concept was gen fic with a dash of Bingqiu, but rarepairs are such a fun challenge, and I would Like To Have Fun with the whole Palace Master Luo Binghe thing. Either way, it would be a Meet Ugly, Enemies to Partners story set in Huan Hua Palace after Luo Binghe’s return!

I don’t have anything to share from it at the moment and I unfortunately cannot promise to actually write this thing. I’m going to finish my reread, finish this ridiculous outline after reading Volumes 3 and 4, and then put this plot bunny on the backburner while I move back to the epic Daemon AU project. But I did need to share the fact that it exists now because I can’t quite believe that I somehow managed to convince myself that Luo Binghe and Gongyi Xiao should argue a lot and then make out about it.
