I love the pitch Bible for the Darkwing reboot giving Herb and his family a purpose, like more than to just annoy Drake 💀
Anyway I think they look alright, I’ll prolly tweak things here and there but I’m fairly happy with them overall. I realize I essentially wrote nothing for Binky, dunno why, but she’s your average house wife/stay at home mom. She enjoys the finer things in life and love baking for her friends and neighbors!

I’m a big believer in Trans Drake supremacy, and due to his transition Herb doesn’t recognize Drake as the same kid he bullied relentlessly in grade school (despite it being one of the reasons he did so). He has since changed and regrets the things he did during that time, but there’s only so much he can do to change that.
Drake doesn’t know if he should bring it up to Herb or hope it just… goes away. Things are going fine as they are, why spoil a good thing?
5 Minutes of Darkwing Duck without context just because I felt like slapping together a bunch of clips including some I don't usually draw attention to. The hardest part was figuring out which clips to jam in there and how short each one I should make to get this as fun as possible
Anyway, watch this cartoon and maybe check out the new comic book series that just dropped the other day. It's got a cute start so far.
Drake Mallard hates Herb & Binky Muddlefoot because they remind him of his own parents.
Not in any angsty "Daddy Issues" kind of way, nor were his parents terrible by any stretch. They were just as adorable & doting towards little Drakey as the Muddlefoots are to their favorite neighbor.
Just that he always found them embarrassing, provincial & tacky. Being stuck in the pastel-colored suburbs while his true calling was in the big city.
Given that he's always had a rather childish ego, he also never fully outgrew his "my parents are so lame" phase. Like how Louise Belcher stubbornly refuses to admit she actually looks up to her parents & tries to act like she's cooler than them.
