Any of you have that one self-indulgent character that you just know belongs in the trash but you love them anyways? Yea, that’s Austen Irving for me. I created him years and years ago and decided early on, “Viruses are boring so I’m gonna have him just like his father and infect him with Las Plagas, too!” because I’m original. Of course, then years and years went by and I never figured out what his mutated form would be. Snakelike, obviously, but in what ways? I had a friend draw an amazing mutated form of him a while back and I love it like crazy but wanted to finally give it a whirl.
I like about everything about this mutation except for the snek’s face. I can’t draw snek. Snek face is hard. I might commission an artist that can actually draw snek in the future because my self-indulgent OC needs some good art from someone that can draw mutated serpents properly. I imagine his squishy human form would be protected much better but I just had to draw a rough idea of how he’d look.
