MAKIMA, the control devil. not a lot is known about her origins. she became a public safety officer whilst also in the pursuit of pochita, wanting to create a ‘perfect world’, but through her control. it is speculated that there is a deep melancholy within makima, yet she is a manipulative individual whose main purpose is to act as one of the four horsemen. her powers as a devil are unknown to her co-workers, only some aspects revealed to fellow devils.
RYOMEN SUKUNA, the king of curses. originally born in the heian era, he was regarded as the greatest jujutsu sorcerer in the age. before his death, he turned himself into a cursed object (his twenty fingers), to survive. sukuna has battle intelligence like no other, as well as a constant thirst for blood that causes him to become the greatest threat in the jujutsu world. he has to rely on “vessels” during the collection of his twenty fingers, the most notable ones being yuji itadori and megumi fushiguro.
QUANXI, a hybrid with the crossbow devil. her fusion with this devil has allowed her to exceed humans in terms of supernatural strength and speed, often being called the best devil hunter of her time. quanxi has a stoic nature, but does show small amounts of kindness if the conditions are right.
YUTA OKKOTSU, a special grade sorcerer with the ability to copy others cursed techniques with his extensive amount of cursed energy. calling upon cursed spirit rika, he can also extend his cursed energy and deal higher amounts of damage. he is an anxious person despite his overwhelming power.

personality: perhaps it's due to trauma regression. perhaps it's due to being isolated in a cave for so long without a soul other than the one inside her head. whatever the case, lulu behaves more like a curious teenager than a mature dragon. she doesn't know much about the outside world, and tends to ask a lot of questions. she wants to fit in with humans, but due to transformation flareups as well as her other dragonlike tendencies, many humans see her as strange and tend to avoid her. it doesn't help that she tends to talk out loud when she communicates with "dark lulu", unaware of how bizarre it must look for outsiders who don't know.
transformation flareups: even now, lulu has a difficult time controlling when and where she fully transforms. this can be painful for her, and she prefers to be alone during these times. these flareups might leave her bedridden and sore for up to a week afterwards, especially during nesting season when her body is more sensitive to transforming. she wishes it would stop already.
dissociative identity disorder, trauma, and "dark lulu": when lulu was physically a child, she had a frightening experience with humans who wanted to hunt her for her eggs since she was part dragon. this traumatic experience led to her splitting "dark lulu", a protector alter who does her best to ensure nothing like that happens again. there are others who may have split from that time, but "dark lulu" is the only one that lulu is currently aware of.
backstory:
born to a human mother and dragon father, the painful birth of lululia crystalis unfortunately led to her mother's death. raised by her dragon father alone, lulu learned all kinds of things. her father was stern but thoughtful, and treasured his daughter dearly. but lulu wanted to understand more. her father could teach her about dragons, but he didn't know much about the human world other than what his late wife had told him.
so one spring day, lulu snuck out of the cave when her father was asleep, seeking out some humans so she could learn about and understand them. but unfortunately, the humans that found her were hunters that only saw lulu as prey. they chased after her and tried to catch her, but lulu managed to get away from them. however, lulu had gotten injured in the process; one of her wings was bent awkwardly. she couldn't feel it anymore. that incident caused "dark lulu" to split, a callous alter with the purpose of protecting lululia from further harm.
lulu's father scolded her for her carelessness, but also apologized to her for not warning her of the dangers beforehand. he tried mending her broken wing, but it was no use. lulu would never be able to properly use her wings again. this devastated her; she loved to fly, but one mistake led to such an unfortunate outcome. she blamed herself for it. why wouldn't she? it was her own curiosity getting out of hand that caused this.
years passed. lululia cried the night her father joined her mother on the other side. she was alone, with no one to guide her. she was scared of venturing out on her own, but "dark lulu" was by her side through it all. she had vowed to protect lulu no matter what. lulu learned to catch fish, learned to cook on her own through trial and error. she could be clumsy, and she would sometimes scar from burning herself, but she got better over time, and had a lot of fun doing it. she would go to human villages and trade food for books so she could study human culture. slowly but surely, she learned more about the human world. she loved it. but gaps in her memories taunted her, a pain in her wing she couldn't remember the cause of. "dark lulu" had shielded her from it all, but lulu hated not remembering. she wanted to know just what she was missing.

BACKSTORY:
Little is known currently about her past, but at some point, a long time ago, before the start of the series and before the school became what it is today, Mimi was killed as a result of war. Her mother, desperate to bring her back from the dead, sacrificed herself in order to make her wish come true, committing a taboo by using reanimation magic. As a result, Mimi was made immortal, never aging or growing. When she fell in battle, she'd come right back.
Ms. Fran (Mimi's other mom) and other members of the Archive (what the school used to be) helped train her to be an infallible weapon in battle, as they needed all they could get in order to gain any sort of advantage in this war that seemed to never end.
At the start of the series, Mimi's first encounter with our protagonist, Sheena Totsuki, leads to her joining the latter's class in the school.
former hard-hitting journalist turned activist. she’s written things that hav brought down whole police departments, whole companies. exposes that sting even the fiercest opponent. she was often referred to as the lois lane of the current day. & then raccoon city happened, & she was the first boots on the ground --- getting as close to the rubble as she could with her camera, just looking out & seeing what greed had done this time.
her scathing review of the government during the incident prompted “the russo papers” in which were what her articles were called when she was called to testify in front of congress for what she saw in the aftermath of racoon city. the smell of charred bodies & how they haunted her. how there were several survivors of the city that didn’t lose their minds --- proof there were people to be saved.
she quickly gets on the list of people that need to be silenced. sam will admit it’s probably easier to list people who want her alive than the ones who want her alive. despite this, she’s a very warm person, kind of awkward.
marley calloway was born with a silver spoon in her mouth. well, more like she grew up where the next meal wasn’t exactly what she worried about --- but if she’d walk in on her father with his tongue some other ladies throat who wasn’t her mother. a world where her biggest fear was keeping it a secret after her father begged.
but then raccoon city happens, & she’s got a nice graduation gift from her father, the owner of several coastal casinos. she turns the revenue from the casino he gives her into a non-profit against bioterrorism. it’s more campaigning & public appearances ... giving attention to a problem.
but it’s giving the world an inside look into places like raccoon city. she ends up having a biological weapon of war on her ass in the middle of an abandoned island. after she slays the beast & escapes the island, she starts to take a much more aggressive state against bio-terrorism --- donating large sums of money to both terrasave and the bsaa.
marley is very-well known ... her father is one of the richest men in the country. when she does something as simple as change her hair, it makes headlines. she tends to ignore the media though except for when doing some publicity for the brand. though, she did release one album... don’t ask.
