The greater Unity’s current design took no inspiration from any modern religions, why do you ask? 😂

While that’s not actually a halo, the projector floating above the Unity bared enough resemblance to one that it influenced the choice to put them in clergy robes.

The Unity is overwhelmed an innate desire to be good and become a better sentinel, so the angelic appearance seemed even more fitting.

The comic is all about repercussions from moral disagreements between the Unity and another sentinel:

Raelyn lives in a giant complex of greenhouses away from the institute’s main base. I knew if I didn’t make a model I could never be consistant in the way I draw it. I went a little overboard and ended up focusing on her house instead of the actual greenhouse complex today, whoops! More to come soon!

God I love designing androgynous characters. Fuck gender.

I didn’t finish today like I thought :/ busy day. I did made the sky though (sans greenhouse dome) and the stairs (sans handrail).

BUT

 I planned out a lot of the first issue and was working on the title card, which you’ll have to wait for the first issue to see. I also decided how I’m going to release comic. I’m going to spend a lot of time on detailed full color comics that I will put out monthly, and release several smaller, flat-colored comic strips (side adventures and explanations of things happening in the main comic, but nothing that furthers the plot)
