even has always meant so much to me as a character, i’ve seen myself in his behaviour, in his insecurities, in him isolating himself not to hurt his loved ones with his m.i.
if julie didn’t want to tell even’s story, she could at least let other directors let their evens tell theirs.
blocking his character means blocking representation for mental illness. blocking representation for thousands of kids who are going through the same shit as even, or niccolò, or joana, etc.
their stories deserve to be heard.
