Phil's wings are the sky, reaching forever to the ends of the horizon. An endless void with a tapestry sewn of stars. Iridescent and inky, coloured and colourless, an eternal paradox.
They are the gleam of adventure reflected in the iris.
The existential dread at the end of days.
Guidance in the moment of greatest need.
An ocean of light whose tides rise and fall with the formation and collapse of galaxies.
But if Phil's wings are the sky- all encompassing and vast- Tommy's are cloud. Weightless, yet almost tangible in comparison.
Tommy's wings are the golden glow of a hundred setting suns.
Thunder roiling deep within glacial valleys.
A culmination of ember and ash, or the first deep breath of fog in the early morning.
As unpredictable as the winds they ride upon. They can be destruction incarnate, or the first signs of healing upon scorched earth.
Where Tommy floats, Phil soars.
The World's Architect, and a thief- as loud as they come.
Underage hero, and the immortal as old as time.
Opposites in all ways that are thought to count. And yet-, and yet there they stand. Hysterical laughter barely constrained at the cliff's edge.
Creation and adventure. Impulsivity and innovation. recklessness in the face of danger.
They are heedless. They are wild. uncontrolled. Chaos.
