The cockatiel also has formed a pack bond with all of the chicks. Its like a parent to them all.

éWere Scorch and Firestar born in the same litter? Is it possible that they both have some kind of sibling connection or something?

Yes! In this comic, all the siblings were born in the same litter to Jake and Tallstar! For this story's purpose, that means Fire, Scorch, and Princess, but maybe one of these days, I'll try a hand at designing Socks and Ruby. ^^

(I decided a long time ago that given cats are designed after their parents, even if its not biologically possible for those parents to have kits. Feather and Storm are fully based on Silver and Millie, as an example. Fire and his siblings have a similar design influence to Tallstar and Jake, regardless of if it were possible. You can headcanon characters being trans if you prefer, but it just doesn't matter to me, lol.)

I just finished reading Redtails Choice and I’m currently reading Swifthawk’s Chance, I really love your comics! Just a question, in your verse, is Redtail bisexual? I MIGHT make fanart of him sometime if I do have time! ^^

AAAH THANK YOU QvQ!! I'm not entirely sure tbh, but yep, probably bi or pan! ;v; He's mostly just got eyes for Whitestorm, though. I kinda wish I'd been more obvious about their relationship at times, but I also like the interpretation they're just super good buddies, too.

Hi, Bird. I am right that Redtail and Brindleface aren’t mates, just friends. If so what about mate for her, someone from other Clans (may be from Shadow, Stumpytail) or from Thunder?

The current idea is Darkstripe, actually! He was actually a bit of a den dad initially, and cares a great deal for Ash and Fern, but in the end, he chose Tigerstar over his family. He did love Brindleface, and I'm considering a very small side comic focusing on how he dealt with the whole situation. I'm very nervous about my ideas right now, but I'm really looking forward to his character arc in the second half of SC. He will be getting a lot more screen time.

I do have to revisit this family's design, as they look too similar right now due to having similar splotchy patterns. ^^;

If Stonefur and Willowpelt are Darkstripe and Graystripe's parents in Swifthawk's Chance, is Stonefur also the father of Sorreltail, Rainwhisker, and Sootfur (I think that's his name)? Or is Whitestorm their father like in canon?

Yes, Stonefur and Willowpelt are the parents of Darkstripe, Graystripe, Sorreltail, Sootfur, and Rainwhisker! I would like to design the latter three properly but kinda struggling with it. ^^; Whitestorm only had eyes for Redtail.

How exactly did Lynxpaw die? In the canon books he was just very weak, so I wasn’t sure if you stuck with that or it was something else, like illness.

In SC, Lynxpaw was killed when they provoked a ShadowClan patrol when alone on the border. They had recently failed Tigerclaw, and being Tigerclaw, he said some not good things that made Lynx want to prove themselves.

Tiger doesn't ever address it, but he does acknowledge their death is largely his fault. But it makes his relationship with ShadowClan a bit more... complicated.
