“This is so great! I feel like a biiiiiird!”

FINALLY, WHOO!!! I’ve been planning to do a full-color, TTS-Style, Birdian design since Freebird originally aired! And then, when I saw Varian’s new steampunk design for Season 3, I finally caved. I needed a dapper science bird in my life.

So, my friend (and fellow mod) @koilada and I spent hoooouuuurs one night scouring the web for the Best Birb Reference for Birdian. We actually found quite a few feathery contenders, but as soon as we saw the wing pattern of the orchard oriole, we both knew that was the one. It was too perfect to pass up.

I had so much fun with this. I’m especially proud of how the wings and collar turned out!

**Also, fun fact: his beak is the same color as his new apron. It just so happened to be a nice muted-gold that worked really well with the show’s bird designs, which I was really happy about. xD**
